The Adtron™ I35MB Diskpak™ storage subsystem is a 3.5-inch mirrored hard disk and the perfect solution for applications that require greater reliability than delivered by a single disk installation.
The Adtron I35MB Diskpak applies mirroring technology in a 3.5-inch hard disk form factor. Developed with the Adtron SmartStorage™ architecture to form one logical unit, the Adtron I35MB Diskpak disk is designed for non-stop operation in applications that require cost-effective reliability beyond that of a single disk drive combined with the simplicity of installation and integration that is not found in complicated, external disk arrays.
Adtron ActiveRAID™ technology is built into the I35MB Diskpak. The host CPU operates unburdened by the redundant data recording, or automatic data rebuilding capabilities of the Adtron I35MB Diskpak. With RAID1 mirroring, the Adtron I35MB Diskpak disk offers the functionality of disk arrays without the complexity and expense.
The high-reliability Adtron I35MB Diskpak disk eliminates the added expense of external cabling, RAID controllers, power supplies, and cabinetry of complicated RAID disk arrays.
With capacities up to 80 GBytes, the Adtron I35MB Diskpak is an excellent cost effective solution for applications that require high reliability, but do not have the rigorous environmental demands characteristic of flash drive applications. The Adtron I35MB Diskpak disk incorporates the Adtron patented media controller, industry standard interface, components, and media that provides the foundation for all Adtron ActiveRAID technology for non-stop operations.
