The Adtron Flashpak® A25FB solid state disk delivers all the advantages of solid state flash disk technology with the advances of the Serial ATA 1.0 (SATA Revision 1.0a) interface in an industry standard 2.5-inch form factor.
Serial ATA interface technology combined with Adtron ArrayPro technology creates a formidable data storage subsystem for high reliability and durability applications in embedded markets such as defense, aerospace and industrial controls. SATA drives are replacing the older and slower parallel ATA (PATA) interface as the de facto standard in embedded environments.
Complete with SATA-1.0 compliance that ensures host compatibility, the Adtron A25FB Flashpak solid state flash disk uses Adtron SmartStorage™ architecture to deliver exceptional sustained read/write performance and to provide hot-swappability when removing, replacing or upgrading the flash disk. As a logical extension of a comprehensive line of SCSI and IDE flash disks, the Adtron A25FB Flashpak flash disk specifically addresses the needs of next generation defense, aerospace and industrial applications with the integration of either commercial (0 to 70 degrees C) or industrial (-40 to +85 degrees C) flash media.
Defense contractors developing integrated battlespace applications are assured increased data security with the Adtron data secure capabilities.
The Adtron patent-pending media controller provides the interface between the flash media and the host, isolating the host from updates to flash media. When required, the Adtron A25FB disk can be tailored to OEM product demands for special applications.
For defense applications requiring data security, Adtron EraSure™ data security technology provides multiple levels of programmable declassification and access control techniques. EraSure Clear is a simple function that eliminates data on the flash disk, after which the flash disk is reusable. EraSure Sanitize follows one of several common sanitize procedures or a custom sanitize procedure may be pre-programmed. Optional Adtron EraSure access control features including, destroy, write and password protection are also available.
